Target Audience Research
I have designed this questionnaire to help me with my production, if i know what things people prefer (including price and regularity of the magazine), i can better design my magazine to suit as many people as possible.
15 women and 15 men took part in my questionnaire so i could get an equal overview from both genders. I have noticed some patterns which i will take into consideration when making my magazine, such as pop is the preferred music type with my interviewees, most of the people look for celebrities in a magazine, and £2.50 - £3 is the most that the majority of people would pay for a magazine.
I believe that to create a product that you know will appeal to your target audience, you need to know your target audience, and that is why i have decided to aim my magazine at women, around the ages of 16-24. From my questionnaire results i can analyse what women of this age may prefer in a magazine.
